Get your home assessed — at no cost.
SRV Firewise partners with the Ventura Regional Fire Safe Council to bring free, no-obligation home wildfire assessments to residents of the Santa Rosa Valley.
A trained assessor walks your property with you
A Ventura Regional Fire Safe Council assessor visits your home, reviews defensible space, roof and vents, gutters, siding, attachments, and Zone 0 (0–5 ft) risks with you, and leaves you a prioritized list of actions. There’s no cost, no follow-up sales pressure, and no obligation.
Why it matters: About 70% of residents who complete an assessment take at least one recommended action within the first month. Small changes — ember-resistant vents, clearing gutters, moving combustibles out of Zone 0 — make a measurable difference in whether a home survives an ember shower.
Who’s eligible: Any Ventura County homeowner. Priority is given to residents in high-fire-severity zones — which includes every HOA in the Santa Rosa Valley.
