One: stay informed. Registered residents get the monthly SRV Firewise newsletter and event notifications specific to their community.
Two: opt in to the At-Risk Resident Registry if you’d benefit from a neighbor calling to check on you when fire weather strikes. This is voluntary and specifically for residents who may need extra assistance during an evacuation — elderly, mobility-limited, medically dependent, or anyone living alone who would benefit from a check-in call.
About the At-Risk Resident Registry
Information stored here is treated with the security appropriate to how sensitive it is: encrypted at rest in a custom database table, accessible only to your community’s designated phone-tree coordinator, and covered by a formal audit log. You can opt out and request full deletion at any time. Details are in our Privacy Policy.
